2007 underway...

Well it is January 6th, 2007. So far this year has had it's ups and downs. As usual, in January my finances take a considerable dip. The trip to New York and buying the new car has exacerbated this dip into a full-blown nosedive! I hope I can keep us afloat until next month when I get my tax refund!

In other news, work has been OK. Kind of slow and lots of people off and sick, myself included. We got a nasty virus for a few days but we're feeling better now. I'm hoping to pull 60 hours next week and get a big fat paycheck in 2 weeks.

Started my classes back on January 1st. After 6 weeks off I thought it would be tough to get back into the swing of it, but it's actually gone pretty good so far. These 2 classes begin my math/IT classes. I did good on the first week but I think it will get harder. My main goal this time is to stay on schedule and try not to have any late assignments. Most of my A- grades are attributed to late penalties.

Guess what? The band has been invited to march in the Governor's Inauguration Parade on January 15th in Montgomery. I'm so excited! This will be their 4th parade this year and they will have one more in May for 'We Love Homewood Day'.

Well, I guess that's all for now. Hope everyone's 2007 is going well so far!
